I find the staff friendly, accommodating and very helpful with suggestions. Personally I would pay 15% more to avoid driving to Kamloops (an hour plus to the east) but often find that the Aschroft Home Building Centre's prices to be roughly same or less expensive than Big Box store competitors. I ordered a portable air conditioner a month ago. I have phoned the store once a week starting a week after I ordered it and everyone I have talked to said that it was not in , but they would get back to me and let me know what is happening. I have not heard back from anyone and now with the hot weather I will be going to Kamloops and getting one. I have always tried to buy in our town, but with service like this who can you blame. It wasn't like this when Andy had the store.
