We camped there in August 2018. If you like trains thats the place to be. If you want to sleep thats not! Two railways are less than a hundred meters from the campground, and thats noisy as hell day and night!Pretty small gravelled spots, decent free showers and toilets, free WiFi, which is pretty fair for 10$/night..Host was nice and helpful.Grocery shop very close to the campground.
A very quiet little place with camping and RV spots right on the river. Has bathrooms with showers .River inn hotel is a short walk with a pub and good food . Town is a 5 min.walk to grocery shopping, a hardware store and great restaurants. Always Hot in Ashcroft !!

My family camped in tents. We got socked in sprinklers twice the same night. Because our tents was right next to it. The owner didn't even tell us about it. He seen where we was setting up. My family didn't get much sleep. The kids had there first soccer game at 8am for a tournament.
